Nayab Singh Saini took the oath as Haryana CM for the second time in a swearing-in ceremony in Panchkula.
The event was attended by prominent leaders including PM Modi, Amit Shah, JP Nadda, and Yogi Adityanath, among others
The ceremony coincided with Valmiki Jayanti, adding importance to the occasion, especially for Dalits
Several key leaders, including veteran BJP leader Anil Vij, were also sworn in. Saini's cabinet now includes 14 ministers
Saini is recognized as an OBC leader, reinforcing the BJP’s focus on inclusive representation.
BJP secured its third consecutive term in the Haryana elections by winning 48 out of 90 seats, while Congress won 37 seats.
Before the ceremony, Saini offered prayers at Valmiki Bhawan, a gurdwara, and the Mansa Devi temple.
Post-oath, Saini emphasized the state’s development under the leadership of PM Modi.
