The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is preparing to invite applications for the position of the new coach for Team India.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah announced plans to invite applications for a new Team India coach as Rahul Dravid's tenure concludes in June.

Shah stated that if Dravid wishes to continue, he must reapply, and a newly appointed coach will serve for three years, according to the BCCI secretary.

Dravid, the Team India head coach, initially appointed for two years, had his tenure extended post the conclusion of the 50-overs World Cup in November 2023.
