The BJP has declared 67 candidates, including 27 new faces. Three ministers and eight sitting MLAs have had their tickets revoked. 27 new candidates have been introduced in the first list.
With around 42% of the state's population being OBCs, 14 OBC candidates have been given tickets.Candidates from areas like Jagadhri, Ladwa, and Rewari have been selected.
The party has given tickets to 13 candidates from the Jat community, including prominent names like Kamlesh Dhanda and Devender Singh Babli.
The party has included nine Brahmin candidates in the list, such as Shakti Rani Sharma from Kalka and Ramkumar Gautam from Safidon.
Significant representation has been given to Dalit communities, including Valmiki, Dhank, and Jatav communities.
Five Vaishyas and eight Punjabi candidates have also been fielded to ensure balanced representation.
Several candidates from other parties have been given tickets, including Pawan Kharkoda and Nikhil Madan.
Tickets have been given to grandchildren of former CMs, including Aarti Rao and Bhavya Bishnoi.Previous ministers like Captain Abhimanyu and OP Dhankhar have been included, while some like Kavita Jain and Karnadev Kamboj have been left out.
The tickets for former ministers Ram Bilas Sharma, Seema Trikha, and Banwari Lal are still pending and may be announced in the second list.
